Framework won't get to base frequency on battery power

I haven’t noticed this issue before upgrading to BIOS 3.06 but I could be wrong. I am on battery power at 55% no matter what I do the CPU won’t clock up to 2.8 or above. It usually sits around 1.1ghz.

I am on Windows 11 using the balanced power plan, two ways to fix this are:

  • Restarting windows which results the clocks being normal for a few minutes.
  • Plugging in the laptop and running on AC power.
