When I power off my FW16 and then immediately power it back up, I notice the EC has not powered off. If I leave the FW16 powered off all night, I notice the EC has powered off.
I can tell this from the timestamps on the “ectool console” command in Linux.
Timestamps continue on if the EC is not power cycled. The Timestamps reset to zero if the EC is power cycled.
Does anyone know how long the FW16 laptop needs to be off for, before the EC power cycles?
