Good news, Linux 6.16 fixed AMD suspend/wake up stuck at low frequency issue

tested Debian 13+testing(forky), Mechrevo/Tongfang GM5HG0A, 8845H

This issue is not limited to framework or R7 8845H. It affects all amd cpu based laptops I used, since R7 4800H

Nice! When you say stuck at low frequency issue, you are reffering to the low CPU issue (400Mhz)?

sort of, but not all the way to 400. some machine can stuck 900-1200MHz, and you can feel it tries to boost. and some scenarios, for example using only 4 threads, they can boost to 3-4GHz,

crap! not really, the issue is back.

I can confirm that the issue is not fixed. It’s a coin flip whether or not my CPU’s get stuck at 1.4GHz after suspending for a while. Hope they fix this soon because it’s unworkable for me.

Having to hard reboot my laptop every day and reopening all my work in progress is killing my work flow.
