When playing any video in Google chrome the laptop CPU goes to full 100% and fan makes full speed noise and the laptop gets heated so quickly.
Is there any thing special to be done for making normal YouTube video rendering in Chrome works well?

Chrome in Linux doesn’t officially support video decoding with the gpu (just like any chromium based browser doesn’t officially have support - last I checked).
There are some ways that you can try to make it work but it can break after update.
You can search tips with “chrome Linux vaapi”

You can check if you have hardware accelerated video decoding enabled in chrome by going to “chrome://gpu”
If its not enabled, then you need to set up vaapi like inffy already mentioned.
