Hi. Have you done a calibration of the BSM and OS etc. i.e.
Charge to 100% for at least an hour
Unplug and run until auto power off.
Wait as many hours as you can and power on
Run the recovered voltage on the battery until a second auto shut down
Charge to 100%
Reset you Battery charge limit to your pref, mine is at 78%
I almost never do that because it’s extremely annoying. Just did it today though. Battery’s back at 100%, cycles updated from 7 to 12, and the max vs. designed capacity value dropped from about 88% to about 84%.
I did this for over a year. The cycles have gone smoothly and I’m on 106 after 32 months but the wear became crazy in April 2024, it doubled so I stopped and over the last few moths things have not changed. I’ll do one more at the end of Feb 2025 for it’s third birthday.

Fully dischaged and recharged the battery. Since then the wear has been between 10.4 and 11.1 ??

A few days ago the wear was 13.7% but then I accidentality didn’t power it and it went done to 50% from the 78% I keep it at and the wear when down over 1% ???
This is quite hard on the battery so not something I want to do often but after after the above success I did it a second time and the cycles did change from 42 → 54. I don’t think the cycles have tracked accurately during this time and it is still at least 250+ off but I will see what comes next.
Edit I think the key to this was the time left powered off.
I understand it seems ‘hard’ on the battery, bu they are design ed to charged at 100% all ways and with that a 2 year warrantee.
With the new 61W Framework are rolling out a BIOS bit to slightly drain the 61W if it has been on charge for 120h, although the text in the topic says it can be charged to 100% for a year.
So on that basis I don’t see much concern to have it as 100% for 24 once a month.
I would call it a bit of a work out but not hard work
As I understand it any extreme puts greater stress on the battery but particularly I was thinking about the deep discharge followed by extended time powered off which can lead to permanent damage to the cells by over discharging them. The charging to 100% for a few hours is is also bad but I can see a greater benefit as the battery is often actually still charging for some time after reporting 100%.
