Investing in Framework

Is this company already on an stock exchange? Is there already a way to invest?

No. Framework is not publicly traded.

See Nirav’s response from earlier in the thread:

To reference LTT’s latest video.
The CEO proclaimed we could invest 200K in framework and have first dips to try the AMD board?

 Here i am!

Would be great to have a heads up, in case you would go public. We early ā€œbakersā€ would love to be part of this great project

I know this is a dead thread, but NRP’s ā€˜any time soon’ sounds relative. With the shipping of the 16, I’d love to hear if there is any fiscal roadmap for receiving investment capital.

Just keeping this thread alive. I’d also like the opportunity to invest. I think it’s a terrific product.

I also would like to invest if possible. I don’t need a new laptop yet but still want to support something I believe greatly in.

yep, same here in Brazil… Been looking for a laptop for ages… Always desired the framework, but I do believe its the future. Want to inevst for monetary gain, aswell as making this thing a thing in Brazil.

I would actively lobby for stimulus and investment if Framework had plans to open a manufacturing subsidiary in Brazil. If it weren’t for the tariffs it would be the most cost-benefit laptop on our market. This would naturally solve the shipping problem.

They want to keep the company private - that makes sense to me. The moment it goes public, they have to answer to the shareholders and investors. Keeping it small means they keep control and can stay on mission. Let’s face it, we’re all happy with the mission as is.

The best way to support them is to buy what they are making. Encourage others to do the same and help this business grow.

FW raised some finance from the public about 1 year ago.
Does anyone know what they spent it on?
Was it the FW 12 and FW Desktop?

I’d love to invest, but I also realize that private equity or public shareholders will immediately ruin the company. I remember when Dell, and then Alienware, and then neither made good computers.
