Laptop goes in standby by contact?

Has anyone else experienced this? it seems like If I touch my (lttstore.com) screwdriver at the part where the metal of the keyboard panel and the actual laptop chasis touch. it causes the laptop to go into standby…

AH, part of me was figuring it was that, is that where the magnet sensor happens to be?

Yes, exactly. It can also be triggered if it sits on top of another laptop - many laptops have magnets in the screen frame to trigger the sensor.

This happens to me a lot. Maybe they can find a way to add an angle sensor like Apple (except without being dicks).
