Laptop Input Module Spontaneously Disconnects / Doesnt work

Having a weird issue regarding the input module. Sometimes the input module disconnects while the laptop is running, causing various system issues. I’ve attached a video to hopefully document what’s going on.

Basically, I’ll be doing something like watching a video, the input module will disconnect, and it will not reconnect unless I hold the laptop in a specific way. Literally have no idea whats going on, and I’ve triple checked that the connector is properly seated.

Is that another laptop underneath it? If so, you might be triggering the magnetic lid closed sensor.

It’s my work Macbook, and I didn’t consider that.
