It’s been about a week and half of using the new 2.8K display with Ubuntu. I’ve got to say, it’s truly a night and day difference! I’m loving it so much. I haven’t had really any issues with glare with the coating used for these displays. Hopefully variable refresh support becomes available in Ubuntu for this screen, that would be neat to see. Happy to help answer any questions anyone may have about it; I haven’t tested it with other distros though.
Now I just need to figure out how to re-purpose the old screen.
