MacOS on Framework laptop?

I swear I replied earlier but it appears I never posted it. So giving some details on the laptops I’ve used, over a year later :]

One broke after 6 years of use (I dropped the 13" MBP), the other two were bought as scrap, repaired, and then sold (XPS 9380, 9300), and another two were bought with intent to keep but had numerous hardware issues so I sold them as well (Framework, used Razer Blade).

Ironically, I’ve had absolutely no issues with my M2 MBA and I would’ve “saved” the environment more had I just bought a Mac when my first one broke, instead of going through so many others like I did. Assuming that re-selling a laptop is akin to throwing it out. Which it isn’t.

I intend to purchase the m5 pro max ultra plus when it releases. And maybe the m6 ultimate. The aluminum is (or will be) ‘recycled’ so I’m saving the environment, or something.

Very true. I highlighted this sarcastically, saying that a resale is equivalent to throwing it out. Really in the bigger picture it doesn’t matter how much of a laptop’s materials are recycled, it’s still not carbon-zero. And even if it were, the amount saved is negligible compared to a certain celebrity’s jet…

As for integrity, what a nice herring. I heard that pickling it Swedish style gives off a wonderful odor.
