Manjaro Plasma KDE Battery drain when laptop off

I’m currently having battery drain issues when the laptop is turned off or sleeping. I’ve tried looking on Manjaro threads similar to this:

with no luck.

Any advise?

FWIW, I’m running manjaro with KDE without any apparent issues using current plasma and kernel. Suspend/hibernate are enabled on your machine? How bad is the problem?

@Ken_Miller That’s good to hear.

It seems like others are also having issues with sleep mode as well draining battery.
I’m going to try hibernate as an alternative to sleep when the lids down to see if that preserves more battery.

Last night I went into sleep mode and went 50%>5%
