Followed the instructions here: Enabling Hibernation in Bazzite Desktop Images - Bazzite Documentation Also enabled Gnome Power Button additions for hibernation. Working so far. Have not tried hibernation mid-game, don’t play a lot of games. Haven’t missed zram so far, will be testing how hibernation works longer term.
Using Bazzite DX Gnome because it had an easier way to install Waydroid, easily changed from Bluefin DX. I mainly wanted to play with containers and VMs, and do some minor programming in Python and MSSQL. Containers and KVM/QEMU running well, as is a Mac OS9 emulation (Sheepshaver). Installed Winboat, but much slower than VM thus far.
