My Framework 16 suddenly shutdown while I was swapping input modules, and now there is no response from the power button and no indicators or anything else from the board, even if plugged in. Is there anything I can check or do to try and fix it, or worst case is my board fried?

That sounds very odd. Even if the battery cable somehow broke, it should still start up when plugged in. Maybe someone else here can offer a suggestion that I’m not aware of, but I’d recommend talking to Framework’s support team. They’ll have a definitive set of tests and an answer, even if that answer is “we’ll have to send you a new motherboard.”
