Hadn’t thought about the PCIe before purchase; I have now purchased. Decided to look at the spec of it today, and discussions. Disappointed to now learn that if I choose to move my Desktop MB into a different case with an exposed PCIe slot, I still won’t be able to plug my spare Highpoint Rocket 12Gb/s PCIe 3.0 x8 SAS/SATA HBA Controllers directly into it, or get full speed. Ugh.
