Let’s not forget 40fps, which is proving very popular on the Steamdeck for gaming.
I prefer a 3K display like the one on the surface, or a 2.5K(2560x1600) if that isn’t available. I don’t really care about the refresh rate as long as it’s at or above 60 Hz. I care more about touch screen and tablet mode like the one shown in this post or other similar designs.
I really hope that the Framework 16 will have a 1440p or 4k OLED monitor option. I currently have the 1440p Razer for personal and I hate having to read stuff on my work laptop without external monitors because it looks so bad.
I run my monitor ar 75Hz and watch a lot of YouTube and movie rips. I notice no stutters.
2k 90hz oled is the way to go, too bad the one from the new thinkpads is just a little too big to fit the framework top.
I now use a notebook with a 15.6" 4k touchscreen display. I don’t want to go smaller or with less resolution. Touchscreen would be nice, but size and resolution are more important for me. Hope for this option on the 16".
I think similarly, but for me the keyboard is the most useless solution fixed in plastic. What I would like to see, is to have a secondary screen with 10 finger touch sensors, and that way I can have a dynamic keyboard with multiple languages. This also brings me the advantage of the drawing board, and a giant mouse pad. Furthermore if I want to use pod like external wireless mouse that adapts that I placed it on certain part of the screen I can reach even more. Just IMHO, my 2 cents.
