Quick question: Is it ok to use this elecom cleaner to clean the framework 13 LCD?

Hi,

I am currently in Japan and trying to navigate through what seems to be endless offerings to clean and sanitize stuff. Which is a good thing I guess, but let me get straight to the point. Is it ok to use this Elecom CK-DP100SET to clean the framework 13 (AMD) screen?

Hey, not sure about using that Elecom cleaner on your Framework 13 LCD. I’d hate for you to risk damaging the screen. Have you tried looking up reviews or tutorials specifically for cleaning the Framework 13?

Hi and welcome to the forum…

First: why can you not just clean the screen with a damp cloth. Has always worked for me for 30 years as well as on my spectacles. I usually breath of the screen/lens and use absorbent paper to wipe.

No cost and no extra environmental, fibre and chemicals. and plastic containers to have to consume and dispose of.

Secondly: I wouldn’t follow a link nor would I know if the item is suitable, better ask the manufactures as they make it etc.

Thirdly: However I searched and found this and see no reason not to use it.
