I just received my DIY framework 13 a few hours ago. I got Ubuntu 23.10 installed. Wifi is connected. I paired Bluetooth earbuds. I set up a fingerprint. However, the speakers don’t work. I disabled bluetooth to be certain the buds were not connected. Anyone have any ideas how to correct?
Hi @Neil_Timmerman , welcome to the community.
can you run pavucontrol in command line? an app should launch, then check output devices tab? see if speaker is available in the combo list?
cheers!

It started working as soon as I installed pavucontrol. Thanks for your help.

ANy idea why that was necessary?
Gnome can be sucky at auto selecting fallback output devices. It probably got hung during the disconnect from the Bluetooth headset. Just my guess.
