Will there be touch options or higher resolution / refresh rate displays that we can upgrade to in the future? The current display seems fine, but I haven’t seen any reviews on the color accuracy or brightness aside from Linus saying it was 400 nits peak in his initial review of the Framework. I believe he did say they were coming out with a touch version, but I don’t quite remember.
The connector they use (and the motherboard) supports a touch display, but the display they’re currently using is not touch-capable. This has led some to speculate that they’re planning on releasing a touch option in the future, but they have not confirmed that they’re doing so (yet).
