Installed CachyOS and trying to re-enable Secure Boot. In Framework’s guides it says to just go through the Bootloader again to re-enable but in Cachy’s guide it says to go through a different process. Which method is safest or most advised?

Secure Boot needs support in both the OS and BIOS. There are a variety of options for CachyOS / Archlinux, but they all involve at least some setup. The Archlinux wiki has more detailed information relevant to CachyOS.

My assumption is that the note in the Framework guide is generically meant to point out that, in following its instructions, you can turn Secure Boot back on by toggling it in the BIOS, ie, turning it off isn’t an irreversible change, unlike some security features (not Secure Boot, usually) in BIOSes of other manufacturers. But it could perhaps be improved: following those instructions while doing nothing else will result in CachyOS not being able to boot.
