Hello 2 everybody,
3 weeks ago, I got my new Framework Laptop 13 with AMD Ryzen 7840U (FRANMDCP07, BIOS 03.03 10/17/2023). I installed Fedora 39 (Workstation Edition), kernel is 6.6.13-200.fc39.x86_64 right now.
I installed dhewm 3 (a Doom 3 GPL source port via flatpak) and installed the necessary pk4s. It runs good, however there are slight screen glitches (looks like blue snow, see video). I tried the kernel param amdgpu.sg_display=0, switched within the UEFI BIOS the AMD GPU Optimize setting, but I didn’t found a solution to get rid of the glitches.
I can’t say whether it is a software or hardware problem.
Can anybody reproduce this phenomenon?
