Up for sale is my beloved gen 1 FW16 that I purchased from a fellow forum member last year. I have such a soft spot for this rig and it’s been a trusty side kick for all sorts of computing adventures. Lenovo (miraculously) decided to replace my 4 year old haunted Legion Pro 7 with a brand new 5080 model for free. I still prefer the framework, but since I rarely use my laptop, I have enjoyed the raw power of the chonky legion and decided to keep it.
That means the FW16 is ready for its next adventure. It’s in great shape and the only thing I can think of worth mentioning is that of the 17 screws that hold the mid plate to the chassis, 1 (#4) seems to be stripped or won’t tighten. As you’d imagine, aside from the annoyance of knowing that, it has no effect on the machine.
