[SOLVED] Can't login to GNOME on Arch Linux after upgrading Framework display

I just got my Framework 2.8k display and installed it onto my Framework 13 (AMD). When I boot up I can get to the GNOME login screen just like before and the keyboard/mouse/display work just fine. However after I type in my password, the mouse freezes and the screen is just gray, and the only thing I can do is hard shut it off by holding down the power button. Any ideas on how to fix? Did I miss a step I needed to do before in GNOME before installing the new display?

Never mind - the solution is to press Ctrl+Alt+F2 at the GNOME login screen (before logging in), running sudo systemctl restart gdm.service, and then everything works again. Just thought I’d leave here in case anyone else runs into this same problem.
