[SOLVED] Slow SSD speed when using a Gen4 drive

I bought this SSD for my new Framework 16 laptop. But I’m only getting this speed.

This is showing that it should be Gen4 speeds

Are you performing these tests on battery? Try plugging in the device and running these tests again. There’s a setting in the BIOS that drops the PCIe speed to 3.0 while unplugged to save battery.

Yup that was it. Just running on battery.
