Showed off the guts of my framework laptop when I was showing it off. I disconnected the input cover cable. When I put it back together, the touchpad no longer right clicks or does gestures. This can’t be drivers can it? I had already installed them and it was working before I took it apart.
I have a batch 2 laptop and the connector on the input cover side is glued to it. Nothing looks off there.
I don’t think it could be a driver issue.

It’s working now. Of course I tried powering off and turning back on, that didn’t work. I booted into linux to see if it worked there. It did. Back to Windows, it works again. shrug
