Framework has said that the connector for the Framework 16’s display has the pins for touchscreen capabilities. You’ll just have to wait and see when they have the time to start planning a 16" touchscreen for the laptop (I’m waiting for one as well!). The Framework 16’s display is already matte. Also matte and touchscreen don’t go well together so you’ll have to choose one or the other. For more information on the display, you can check Framework’s Display Deep Dive which is located here.

That’s not been my experience. I’m on a matte touchscreen Thinkpad right now.

I am hoping for a touch screen either OLED or same as what we have but touch. it’s the only thing i miss about my XPS.
