Thanks for this. We can use this as a workaround while I get this in front of the engineering team to get this sorted on the Ubuntu front. So workaround today (validated this myself, repro of issue post update, ran this and workaround is applied.

Nothing fancy, paste enter, password, done. Nothing require text editors, etc.

Terminal, paste, enter, password when prompted, done. No ./script stuff.

These are tested and retested on 4 different 25.10 installations fully updated. I will be adding the workaround to the doc and sharing this bug with engineering.
