USB-C Cable

After someone on the discord broke their cable, they decided to strip it. What it showed was quite interesting as it has the standard USB 2.0 lines which should not be needed and then the standard VBUS, GND, CC, SBU. This means that if you try to use it as a display cable the device will know it is a display-rated cable but no data will be transmitted. The USB-C connector on either side has a little PCB with 16 pins. A bit unusual for USB-C. Does any of the framework team know what part number the cable connector uses?
