Hi all,
Whenever I visit the website, I always get the “Your session expired, please sign in again to continue.” message.
Why is that? It happens way too often and gets in the way.
Hi all,
Whenever I visit the website, I always get the “Your session expired, please sign in again to continue.” message.
Why is that? It happens way too often and gets in the way.
I’m using latest Firefox (130.0) on Ubuntu 24.04 with the default cookie settings, which include “Enchanced tracking protection”.
This happens just on one computer and the issue is with https://frame.work in particular. This Discourse forum is okay.
By constantly, logging you out, do you mean that the moment you sign in it signs you out?
How long does it take for the website to log you out?
The main frame.work website is designed to sign you out after a period of inactivity. This is for security because if you forget to sign out, someone can use your payment methods to make unauthorized purchases.
If it signs you out after around a hour of inactivity or you not visiting the website, then the behavior is normal.
You shouldn’t often need to log in there. I think you only need to log in when ordering parts or a laptop. If you log out before leaving there you should find it works fine with you not logged in and stops warning you that you’re logged in but have been logged in too long.
Do you have other Firefox plugins that changes / hides / scrambles your browser fingerprints?
And that “one computer”…is the clock / time skewing, in a protected (self-reset) VM or something?
Nothing unusual about other plugins, no anti-fingerprint ones. This is a normal setup, no VM with funny timezones either.
Why are you even logged in there? It’s likely you don’t need to be.
Have you tried clearing all the cookies for frame.work ?
