I have been able to get a consistent 80 fps on high 1080p for battlefield 6. Wondering if it can get better if tune any settings I have 395 + with 64 gb

I was playing Crimson Desert at 4K, in Linux, last night. For as gorgeous a game as that is, it doesn’t even need 10GB of vram. Very well optimized

I played Cyberpunk and it is a complete disaster, what a mess. I am not even sure I wanna finish the whole game, had to crank settings all the way to low to get it stop crashing Windows. I suspect is the same shit show in Linux.
Cyberpunk runs like a breeze on Bazzite Linux on high settings. Ultra would be playable as well if you are more into visuals than FPS.

Satisfactory also has no problems in Ultra settings with large factories.
I’ve got Start citizen 4.7 Alpha running without issue ( its been running since 4.3 ) w/o any problem relatively smooth ..im still trying to figure out how to tell the FPS on my Fedora system but so far so good.

I have been seeing a lot if crashes and scenarios where the OS (windows) locking up in the past weeks. Not sure why this happens, it’s reaching 96-98% utilization of the GPU. has anyone else experienced this?
Depends on which games you are playing, I know Cyberpunk will crash Windows 11 which takes skill. I have been playing most other games just fine and the iGPU performs like a champ. I also keep my chipset AMD drivers up to date and on the latest without any issues.
Yeah I have updated my drivers and windows, but still locks up I think fsr framegen might be the culprit. Or the new game update broke something
Transport Fever 2 runs like a dream even with a full map of 10,000 citizens.
Also play Eden Crafters, Blossom, all run perfect.

I tried playing BF6on it and it works decently. I did have play on low to medium graphics settings but overall, it was playable.

Got the Max 385 with 32 GB running CachyOS. I don’t normally play very resource-intensive games, but with that said, it runs like a dream.
I’ve played Monster Hunter Wilds with pretty high settings and still have a smooth framerate over 60. And just as a fun note, I have yet to encounter any FPS dips in Risk of Rain 2, even in overwhelming scenarios where there is so much happening on screen and that would’ve turned into a slideshow on my gaming laptop before this computer.
Gaming compatibility with Proton has been stellar too. Only had one minor hiccup in it (needed a tweak for Celeste visual bugs) so far. Very, very happy with this computer’s gaming capabilities.

Weird, on my unit Cyberpunk runs great on 1440p with most settings on high. Note that the crashes are both Cyberpunk issue and AMD driver issue. That is annoying too. But the game runs great. I had days when I played for many hours, getting consistent 70-80fps. Sometimes it crashes in the first few minutes, sometimes after a few hours. This is the annoying part.

Just got my Framework Desktop delivered yesterday, with the 395+ 64 GB model as a TV-connected Steam “Console”.
Bazzite-Deck installed easily, and setup was very simple.
The problem was that the first games I tried ran horribly at only 1080p!
I did not have time to look at it too much last night, but this morning I found out how to check for updates (ujust command line tool), and three popped up. I also reviewed some settings to make sure the new FSR4 updates were enabled (in one of the Bazzite desktop utilities) and confirmed that I did not have any weird TDP limits set. I also turned off the Gamescope option to set the resolution automatically (1080p) and kept a 4k desktop (which also allowed games to be set higher than 1080p in their settings).
After that, I went back to CP2077, changed to 1440p, adjusted the settings up, and hit a solid 60 FPS. I also had a little time to recheck Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader (which I am currently playing), and it looks so much better with a solid framerate. I also noticed that launching the games now includes a Steam Vulkan shader precompilation phase before launch, which I don’t remember seeing before the updates.
So for anyone else with Bazzite: run the updates!
P.S. I had to look closely to see if the fan was running because the machine is so quiet
