I’m having a huge problem with Windows 11 23H2 leaking the Non-paged pool - in a few days it grows so big the system becomes unresponsive, and often has to be rebooted with force using the power button.
I’ve been doing lots of digging on it, running poolmon.exe etc, and that showing “Proc” named pool to grow - I found that it might be the AMD GPU driver. So for now I did the not-recommended thing and updated to the latest AMD driver pack. Looks promising so far but lets see for a couple of weeks.
I was having some weird issues with the AMD 13 (Stuttering and BSODs) - I also had to update to the latest (at the time) AMD driver to fix it - Although - are you referring to the dedicated gpu or your onboard gpu?
I was having a different issue on the stock driver with increasing CPU usage, which seems to be linked/related to memory leak. I’d suggest installing 24.7.1 driver from AMD, it fixes that issue without introducing others.
24.8.1 has an issue where control panel pops up on every screen on event, while for 24.9.1 and 24.10.1 some people reported instability.
