Hey,
I think it’s related to other issues people have been getting due to the firmware updates. Left hand tb seem to be unable to use display port alt mode but can use pd. Right tb can connect but that’s it. Since you use Windows It seem likely it’s in the firmware instead of OS related.
I have two posts on the topic that I think are related. And one from the framework team by @nrp I believe. But haven’t found it yet. Will edit it in later. My bad it was by @Kieran_Levin

Hi Everyone!
We are excited to release our first BIOS update for 12th Gen Systems.
This update has been a bit more complex due to needing to update retimers, and we have had to rewrite our updater for both EFI and windows to support this.
Please carefully read through the update instructions, especially if you update using EFI!
Please note that if you update to 3.06, you will not be able to downgrade to a lower version as it will cause left side ports to stop functioning for any mode except …
Hi,
Firmware update via lvfs seems to have hung on pd2 firmware 0.1.14 to 0.1.21. Been stuck on for the last hour or so. Where do I go from here? And it just rebooted back into the firmware update process. And rebooted again. Oh boy. I’m still able to directly boot into grub via way of boot menu so it isn’t completely blasted.
Specs:
Bios version HFW30.03.06
Arch os

Hi,
I’m having the below issues with getting my amd egpu setup to run. (I’ve attached some logfile output below) The gpu is/was detected up in the grub menu. After loading the kernel is where things get wonky. I’m getting init errors by the kernel I believe. I’ve added the modules to grub and mkinit.conf. There is also a wonky thing going on with the left hand thunderbolt connection. The ports on the left hand side show the connected egpu case as disconnected. The right hand side shows the egpu…

Hello all,
I have Arch Linux running on my 12th gen framework. It is connected to my Anker 777 Apex 12-in-1 TB4 dock, along with 2 external displays.
During the boot process, the displays are not recognized at all: I can’t see the BIOS, the disk encryption screen, or GRUB. Only when the system is booted, the screens are recognized and everything works fine.
This is quite inconvenient because I have to open the laptop lid to interact with the system during boot. Ideally, I could keep the lid c…
