When booting Linux, I got the warning:
ACPI BIOS Warning (bug): Optional FADT field Pm2ControlBlock has valid Length but zero Address: 0x0000000000000000/0x1 (20230628/tbfadt-615)
under macOS (right now, just kernel start):
ACPI BIOS Warning (bug): Optional FADT field Pm2ControlBlock has valid Length but zero Address: 0x0000000000000000/0x1 (20160930/tbfadt-771)
dear Framework developers, could be this fixed please?

What model of Framework? What do you mean “under MacOS”?

I can confirm that this ACPI error exists for Framework 13 AMD. It’s just that the Pm2ControlBlock should have address and size to be all zero at the same time if not used. Otherwise, it violates the FADT format. It looks like in the current firmware, the size of this entry is 1 but the address is 0, hence the warning.
I’m also seeing this issue (Framework 13, AMD 7840U):
ACPI BIOS Warning (bug): Optional FADT field Pm2ControlBlock has valid Length but zero Address: 0x0000000000000000/0x1 (20240322/tbfadt-611)
I get the same error on Framework 13, AMD 7640U.
It happens right after EFI/GRUB, before cryptfs password.
