ALS Not Working after upgrading to Fedora 41

Sorry if this has been mentioned elsewhere, I just wanted to share that after upgrading to Fedora 41 I no longer have access to ALS correcting screen brightness automatically. It has been removed from settings/power and I am unable to currently find a method to enable it.

Which kernel are you using? Linux 6.11.8-300.fc41.x86_64

Which Framework Laptop 13 model are you using? (AMD Ryzen™ 7040 Series)

This is a Fedora bug: 2324181 – selinux is denying iio-sensor-proxy write access to sysfs which it needs for certain iio sensors

Thanks for that Jules, reading that is mostly incoherent for me.

So when the bugs are created they just get fixed eventually? or how does that work?

On Linux usually more often and faster than on Windows, but how long exactly it takes in each case may vary significantly depending on priorities set by a given distro and/or community involvement.
