Year. Since Amazon delivered me wrong RAM modules and haven’t even send out the right one yet, my German R5 will arrive tomorrow or on Wednesday without me being able to actually fit some RAM in it…
Feels sad that some folks here are still waiting for the shipment notification while I probably can not even use the laptop that will be shipped in the next two days

Note that mine also said Wednesday and last time I checked today is Monday and I am staring at the package

Mine was supposed to arrive Wednesday (R5 Germany). It was delivered today (to a neighbor).

Mine also arrived two days early! It’s also blazing fast and a thing of beauty. Unfortunately, the touchpad is barely responding and also reversed in its left/right movement, even after thorough checkups of connectors and drivers. Already contacted support, it’s quite curious.

That is strange. I saw one other report of someone who had two keys reversed on the keyboard. I think one of the control keys was swapped with another key.
Meanwhile, I’m still side-eyeing my email notifications, waiting to be charged.

Mine arrived todays as well… with BIOS 3.02 and the download page stating there is no download as 3.03 is factory installed. Let’s see if the support can point me to a download since it seems linux is a no-go without it.
Currently running memtests, curious to see if everything works correctly as touchpad left click seems kinda mushy…

@Soukyuu Go to the english language version of that page. The international versions are outdated/incorrect.

Funnily enough, the “international” page I was directed to was in English, so I hadn’t thought about that. But you’re totally right, this version of the page has the download link, currently flashing 
edit: on 3.03 now, finally can start installing linux on it \o/

at the Top it also says “Zugestellt” and shows which neighbor signed for it

Got the email on 27th October but as of today (6th November) nothing else has happened. No further email, no payment taken, nothing. Is that normal?

Yes. I haven’t gotten anything further either. Exactly when each order is finalized, charged and shipped depends on a variety of factors, but they will continue working through the batch. The waiting sucks, but don’t fret. It’s normal.

It’s hard not to feel a little envious when people are getting their Batch 4 payment emails, shipping notices, and actual hardware–and I’m still waiting for Framework to take my money. At times like these, I remind myself that patience is a virtue.

Atleast we’ve only got a maximum of 2 more weeks after this week
Some folks in Batch 3 took 2+ weeks to get charged after their initial Batch 3 prep email, so YMMV.
Having been charged last night, (pre-order date 5/23) I don’t have a delivery ETA from FedEx yet, but I’m optimistic based on trolling the Batch 3 Guild thread. Another person from NJ, where I’m located, got their charge and shipping notice on a Sunday evening, and actually received delivery from Taiwan on the subsequent Tuesday. Hopefully tomorrow or Wednesday is the day for me as well.
I even got my dbrand skin in the mail today, so I’m about as prepared as I can be.
