Ordered my upgrade kit on June 12th. I’m guessing they might be prioritizing getting full laptops to new customers over existing customers upgrading (but really I’m just making up stories in my head to try to make myself stop refreshing my email so damn often). Not sure if I’m kicking myself for delaying and not getting in on batch 3 or if I’m happy a bunch of BIOS stuff will be sorted out before I get my new motherboard.
May 23rd here, didn’t get charged and I live in France
Mine just hit the FedEx hub in Alaska! It’s only 12:50PM there. Surely they will get it straight out to the east coast overnight.
Central US here, got the check your payment email early last week. Received payment has processed email today. Order placed on June 16 for DIY AMD, no memory or storage, 4 expansions
well i got charged today. things are looking up
Got my confirmation today. Will get it in the next few days.
June 13 order date.
Shipped Nov 7.
My guess is that it is being grouped by availability of parts, then region/country. Based on what I have seen so far, I don’t think order date has much to do with it apart from determining which batch we are in. This makes sense in my head as it could make shipping cheaper, although I’m no expert on international shipping…
Anyone from the UK paid for their Batch 4 yet? I’m in the UK and haven’t been charged.
I also think this is the case based on what has happened in previous batches.
(Ordered 31 May, R5 no ram, SSD or charger )
UK here and no charge for me yet. A major exercise in patience seeing others get theirs!
I’d be interested to know if firmware 3.03 is preloaded on the first Batch 4s to arrive - would anyone be up for sharing that detail when you get yours?
Received mine like 2 hours ago to Austria, yayy
Works fine with Kingston RAM 64GB-5600 (KF556S40IBK2-64) btw.
Got my shipping email. It’s on the way!
It just arrived, but I still got no RAM .__.
I was pleasantly surprised about the size and weight.
Kinda insane, I broke the included T5 bit trying to unscrew the SSD screw.
Thats kinda a meme on me since I often break screws while working on PC/Laptops. At least this time it was just the bit, so no need to drill something out. My iFixit bit could still remove the screw
It wasn’t on mine. Had to search for the English page for the BIOS download as the link in the email pointed to an outdated page.
Why did I think anything would change once my laptop shipped? All it did was switch the page I check constantly. Incidentally, it left the origin facility in Taiwan, lol.
LOL. Mine hit my local FedEx distributor, about 40 minutes away, just after 8AM. Sadly, seems that was too late to be on the truck for today, so it’s scheduled for tomorrow.
Got the shipping email while I was asleep
So excited
Whoa, FedEx updated that it’s out for delivery today.
Sweet. I’m WFH today since my kids have a 1/2 day and need me to be their personal Uber driver.
Edit: it’s here. Assembly has begun!
Pre-ordered: May 26th
Preparing Batch 4: October 27th

Early setup pics. Setting up Win 11 for now.
EDIT: Now with a dbrand top skin, and a Fedora 39 dual-boot. Good times.
Despite the best efforts of my bank, I am now £1000 poorer and will be jumping at every delivery for the next few days…
Just got charged. UK Ryzen 5
