Ryzen AI 300 Series

I’ve been using my Framework 13 laptop for a good month now with no hitch. But now I tried to use it on the road with my mobile hotspot from my Pixel 7 phone. It connects just fine (thought my phone doesn’t always show it as a connected device, but the computer does), but I am not getting any internet.

Maybe one time out of 10, it actually keeps the online connection on but other times it let’s through some packages for 2-3 seconds and then just goes into a “can’t connect” mode.

Pings are going through for the first seconds of the connection but after that all I get is connection errors.

I’ve tried restarting NetworkService and others, I’ve tried changing the security levels as well as just removing the whole connection and adding it again.

If your phone supports it, you could try doing the wired hotspot through usb and see if that has any issues. Not saying this as a solution, because I know that’s less convenient, but just another thing to narrow it down
