Just got the preparing to ship email, step 3 - order placed 3rd july - DIY i5 - 1240P.
I’ve been reading along here for a few days now, but I’m still not quite sure if it’s normal that I received step 3 on August 10, but since then neither money has been collected nor anything else has happened. Actually step 3 should be sent just before the collection of the payment happens, right?

Looks like a whole batch just went out on DIYs. For those of you that got those, did any of you also receive the “delay email”?
I did not receive the “delay email,” but I will be sure to update if that happens. Hopefully, the next reply I make will be about my FW shipping haha
EDIT: I just checked my order summary and nothing has changed since receiving the email. Will be watching this very closely…
I didn’t get the delay email. I have been following the thread and saw that people were getting delay emails, so when I saw an email pop up from Framework I thought it was that! It’s been useful to see people’s order timescales on here, good to keep track and see that things are moving when you are waiting. Fingers crossed for everyone.

Just wanted to confirm that it was one or the other so that I’m not hanging on my email for the rest of the day lol. Looks like if you got the delay message, your order is likely not coming in this batch that’s processing now.

IDK how many have been affected, but I would greatly appreciate that Framework to offer as a compensation the possibility to order the Ethernet card early.

Great to hear about more people are getting their step 3 email. Pleased for you guys 
I know it’s a small sample size but it looks from the comments like it’s all 1240p’s in the batch that’s processing now. They’ve said that all the materials are available in the factory now but maybe they’ve had the 1240p’s for longer and that’s why the i7’s are a little further behind? I suppose my speculation is pointless though as we still have to wait. I’m just hyped for my framework and can’t help myself

I just got my Stage 3 email today too. I ordered a1240p DIY (w/16x2Gig, 1TB, charger and some expansion modules) on June 21 from BC Canada. I was thinking of canceling (no reason other than I could wait until the end of the year for a replacement for my current machine and I spent (way!) too much money on upgrading our TV audio situation), but I’m in the queue now, so I am content to not cancel and happy to be moving forward

Got my Stage 3 email a little earlier this evening. Mine is a very barebones DIY i5-1240p with four modules (HDMI, two USB-C and one USB-A), coming to Newfoundland, Canada. I ordered on June 15th so I guess it was pretty easy to prepare and ship once supplies arrived.
So sorry to hear about those who have experienced delays! Hope things move along a little faster than estimated for you!

I just received my Stage 3 email, I was quite worried tbh.
Then I expect receving it beginning of next week! (depending on delay to deliver to France)
