Same for me. I don’t blame it on framework and I’m sure these 2 weeks of waiting will make the reward even sweeter! After all: the longer you wait, the sooner it will come.
also three days isn’t a long wait. I just hope it’s the correct estimate.

Them having collected the money doesn’t mean you have to initiate a dispute via your bank to get the money back, if you want to cancel.
The process is:
That’s how refunds work.
With cancelling the order, you will get your money back quickly and easily.
Disputing it will take a lot longer and be a lot messier. It is intended for spurious charges, mainly fraud or companies that have no intention of ever delivering. The credit card company will question the company, and if the company does not respond to their queries, does not exist or has a history of similar issues, you will get your money back. However if the company is working in good faith to deliver your product, the credit card company may wait a bit to see if they can actually deliver, or they can reject your claim outright. Resolving this would take weeks or longer.
It might be better to just modify your order, leaving out the SSD and getting one locally. A Samsung 980 will be just as fast. An SK Hynix Gold P31 will be almost as fast but run a lot cooler and extend battery life. And there are other compatible SSDs of course:
There are major, unprecedented supply disruptions going on right now. They just keep getting worse by the day. To be honest, it is a miracle that anyone is able to deliver laptops right now.
Indeed, reading up on it, it looks like a dispute could be looking at anywhere up to half a year to resolve. A refund, on the other hand, would be credited to your account within a couple bank days.
Disputes are for when there is, well, a dispute about the return of the money. Unless a cancellation and refund has been requested, there can’t really be any dispute regarding that.
I’ve just been made aware that I forgot to update here.
My framework got shipped and arrived on the 4th
Couldn’t be more happy with the laptop. It’s a lot sturdier than I imagined.
Alright, here we are. Judgement day. Will the delayed group get their stage 5 shipment email or will they get radio silence until they get another delay update. You’ll find out today on the Batch 9 Guild forums…
Yeah, I mean the worst thing is it didn’t say the ssd’s would arrive today, but arrive sometime this week
Which means there is the possibility (highly likely with current trend) it won’t ship till Friday or we get another email on Friday saying
“Sorry there is a delay with the ram”
I still haven’t got anything in my mail. Nothing. No delay nor any progress. But I asked the customer support last week, they said they can only “commit to the month”… >Sigh<
@FlyingFox.of.theYard
Everything is fine. My laptop is still on the way but sooner or later it will arrive. Thank you all for your help!
Just got my stage 4 email!!! Oh this is exciting
Are you sure your in batch 9 (congrats either way)
They say so on the website. But I ordered relatively late, like end March, so I understand the delay. Anyway I 'm just glad I finally heard something from the team lol
Got it yesterday too, was afraid for a second, before i saw the the mail i got a notification from my creditcard app that 1000+ bucks was successfully payed
Finally my laptop in in stage 5. I am thrilled!!!
EXPEDITION!!!
Gosh I have been waiting for this email so much, that I was surprised
Just had my order dispatched - was in the group who were delayed due to a shortage of SSDs (Western Digital 1TB SN850 SSD)
Stage 5 - Shipping confirmation. Finally!
There was a bunch of Batch9 orders that got delayed - first a shortage of packaging impacted some, then a shortage of SSDs.
oh yeah I know that, I got affected by both
mine finally moved into shipped yesterday,
the reason I asked that, was because of the “only just took the money” status, which sounded more like the Batch10 timeline
I got mine a few days ago (DE), and while i have no SSD yet because i was able to choose one that was not supposed to be chooseable, i have to say it’s worth the wait. I ordered on 20th of March and got it deliverd on 11th April. It was a really long wait, also considering that it’s not completed yet, but i still love it. The support has been extremely friendly and transparent all the way through. Maybe y’all use the mean time to shop for a screen protector or a bag or sleeve.
