Cannot find secureboot options in bios for framework12

Hi,

My FW12 finally arrived today.
I cannot find the option to disable secure boot in the bios.

I’m assuming it should be under “Security”.
Should it be there??

I have all my iso’s on a ventoy stick, so that first prompted to install its key, which was fine.

I was planning on installing CachyOS, as according to Phoronix (the site) it was best performing for this machine. But of course this doesn’t boot as the system claims its not valid.

But I’m happy to install ubuntu, as that will be signed.

Do I need to wait for a bios update to be able to disable secure boot?..

Other than that, it seems like a very nice machine - I also have the FW13 & 16.

Thanks,
Sean

It’s on the splash screen before the BIOS when you went to select enter setup

It may not come across very strongly in @wackbyte’s comment, but it has to be F2. If you’re pressing F12 instead, that’s not how you get to the setup landing page.

Aha!
Yes it is. Thanks!
I was expecting those settings to be with the rest of the bios options like the other models.
Although I’ll probably just leave it as Ubuntu now, given that is what the rest of my machines run.
