My computer wouldn’t boot two days ago, so I installed a fresh Ubuntu. It was working fine, although I had some issue with gdm being black on boot (I switch to lightdm and it worked fine) but I decided to update my graphics drivers with amdgpu-install following the instructions here Radeon™ Software for Linux® Installation — amdgpu graphics and compute stack unknown-build documentation . After running amdgpu-install -y --usecase=graphics and rebooting and enrolling the mok certificate I could no longer boot. Using recovery mode revealed that the boot loader would get stuck at the line amdgpu: ATOM BIOS: 113-PHXGENERIC-001. So I used a live USB and I ran amdgpu-uninstall and now it boots again. It’s not a big deal, but unfortunate that I can’t use rocm if I’d like to in the future. I’m also assuming my issues with booting two days ago was related, as I had rocm installed on my previous installation of ubuntu

Try disabling secure boot in then BIOS and see if you can boot.
Just FYI, I am just using the opensource vulkan drivers on my FW 16.

amdgpu-install --vulkan=amdvlk

I currently have the same issue on my FW13. How did you use amdgpu-uninstall with the live usb? I plugged in a live usb, mounted my main drive, and tried that, but it didn’t recognize it. I don’t know how to disable the amdgpu driver I installed.

You can just install rocm and use the open source drivers. I have also wrecked my system with amdgpu in the past, but currently have working rocm, vulkan, and hip with the open source drivers. Nothing special was needed except to not install the amdgpu driver
