Does anyone know where I could find info on how to make my own keyboard module?
I’ve been eyeing ergo keyboards lately and it would be nice to have a custom layout on the laptop, but I have no idea how to actually build a custom keyboard module

The FWL16, like all mainstream laptops, doesn’t have the vertical space for any off-the-shelf individual key modules. Cherry MX ULP is the slimmest last I knew, and it’s still too thick. You’d have to modify the laptop to add more room.
But FW plans to bring us an individual key module that they made to fit, frame.work/products/one-key-module. There is an option to be notified when it’s available. I imagine FW will create files for one keyboard as an example & starting place for others. If they don’t someone in the community is likely to do so.
