hey. time to dust off those LED matrix panels. i made myself a daemon and some tools to configure it (CLI or web). it’s called dark-matrix and it does almost everything on that wish list thread, but I figure it’s time to get a few more folks testing it out and finding bugs. If you don’t mind some jank and like LED lights, definitely check it out below.

It can do a ton:
- configurable HUD with presets and triggers and loads of widget types - i am just getting started with these, but there are some data/gpu/cpu displays, text animations, life simulations, images/gifs, some ai stuff, clocks, timers, and some zen animations
- image/animation designer - can import images and gifs
- audio reactive full screen mode
- video player - has a few dependencies if you want to play from youtube
- cast - pretty much just twitch chat so i can keep an eye on stuff while streaming
- life simulations - lots of settings - lots of death
- custom notifications and animations - including detection when you switch your mic or cam of/on
Anyway, if you have issues, create an issue and be detailed as possible so i can get it all fixed up.
