I installed Debian 13 on a new Framework 12 last night, and I haven’t found any problems yet. Wifi works, Bluetooth works, touchscreen works, tablet mode works (keyboard locks out, screen orientation changes), touchpad works (including gestures), HDMI out works, sound works, sleep/resume works, hibernation/resume works with full disk encryption (using Debian installer’s defaults; only had to disable Secure Boot support in UEFI setup for the hibernate action to become available)… What am I missing? Why isn’t Debian 13 listed as, at least, a community-supported Linux distro? This is with KDE Plasma 6, by the way, which is fantastic on this laptop. Couldn’t be happier, I think.

I’m not sure, but I could imagine, there has to be a community speaking with framework to support it?
I can report that Linux Mint Debian Edition 7 (based on Debian 13) works fine, too. I had to turn on automatic screen rotation and I still need to find out how to move the onscreen keyboard from the top to the bottom of the screen in Cinnamon, but that’s not really my use case too often, so it’s rather curiosity than urgent need.
