I have not heard the PSU fan at all yet, even when running passmark tests.

I think the PSU fan noise issue would manifest more when idle

Noisy PSU fan

At first, i was surprised when the PSU fan started whirring for some seconds while the System was in idle. Then i was confused after it went on for the 3. time. Currently i’m annoyed. I planned to use the system on my desk, but the constant on and off, instant ramp up and nerve wrecking pitch of the PSU fan makes me consider alternatives. Is this a common issue with the PSU fan or is it just the one i got?
