Is it possible to disable keyboard and touchpad completely so that the laptop would only wakeup if the power button is pressed or the lid is opened? I tried finding something in the setup utility, but the Insyde BIOS is so dumbed down… ![]()
Recent AI300 mainboard already caused several spurious wakeups when my laptop was in a backpack. It heated so much that it was almost burning my fingers when I tried to put it back to sleep. Not to mention this is unhealthy to SSD which now shows signals of imminent death (best timing possible, yeah).
When left on a table the laptop can sleep for the whole night without any issues, so I believe it’s the flimsy touchpad that wakes it up.
P.S.: Also it would be super cool if one of the side LEDs would indicate the power status when the lid is closed. For example, if power cable is connected to the left side, then right side LED should “breathe” if the laptop is sleeping (and vice versa).
