Can I use External SSD with 20 Gbps to get full speed? (Example: Kingston XS2000 Portable SSD 4000G -SXS2000/4000G: Amazon.de: Computer & Accessories)

They do not. FW is using the Intel Burnside Bridge retimer which supports USB 3.2 Gen2 (10Gb/s). They would have had to implement the Hayden Bridge retimer to be able to offer USB 3.2 2x2 support. Plus Hayden Bridge only first became available starting with 13th Gen.
