Does keyboard.frame.work work for you?

When I visit https://keyboard.frame.work/ I just get errors. In my case specifically

09:22:37.223
Error: Failed to open the device.
Device: Framework Laptop 16 RGB Macropad
Vid: 0x32AC
Pid: 0x0013
09:22:37.243
Received invalid protocol version from device
Device: Framework Laptop 16 RGB Macropad
Vid: 0x32AC
Pid: 0x0013

I’m on Ubuntu using Chromium.

Now I did install Chromium via flatpak which does some sandboxing, but “invalid protocol version” doesn’t seem like a sandboxing error, and as far as I know this isn’t something that should be sandboxed anyways.

Does this work for other people? I’m having trouble getting my macropad to do anything useful at all.

There are some other threads about this.
Here’s the post I used to resolve it once upon a time (specifically the udev rule part)
[RESPONDED] Help configuring FW16 keyboard with VIA - #3 by MJ1

The linked one is for the keyboard, your errors seems to be for the macropad. I would hope it applies to you too
