Does the Framework Desktop have Boot on AC power loss within the BIOS?

Hello folks,

Just ordered my Framework desktop, I’m extremely excited to use it as a living room gaming PC. Something I haven’t been able to find the answer for though is that it has the ability to boot after AC power loss.

My current PC I have plugged into a smart plug that times out after PC is switched off. A little press from Google home on my smart plug boots it up when I’m out the house etc for remote access.

Appreciate the input

Thanks

I didn’t find the option in the bios.
Could you tell me how did you configure it to power on when power is back?

Yes, it is in the “Boot options” part of the BIOS.

“Poweron ac attach” or something like that?
I set it to enabled but it doesn’t work.
Too bad since this is supposed to be a server so i’d rather it restarts automatically!

It’s now working.
I think I know why: when I posted I didn’t have installed the OS yet. Once the OS was installed it worked.

And now I see a bios update with this correction:
Enhanced the Power On AC behavior, allowing the feature to work correctly without requiring the system to boot into the Operating System at least once for initialization.
