eGPU on fedora 40 has apps like steam and blender crashing

Hello Everyone - love the project, but I’m having issues:

OS: Fedora 40
Framework 16, Razer Core X, Radeon 7700XT

Steam and Blender, both installed using the GNOME Software Manager crash during startup, when my eGPU is connected. The GPUs outputs are used by GNOME successfully.
For Steam, setting PrefersNonDefaultGPU=false did not help.

Any advice?

It is possible that the issue was introduced with the most recent batch of updates. Steam is working with the just-rolled-out System updates again, chrome crashes on first opening, blender still crashes everytime
