That other thread started with OP from the 12the gen, me on the 11th gen. It’s doing it (flipping) alright. (i.e. It has a ‘behaviour’…which was observed…as early as 2021, below)

What’s going wrong
I’ve been happily using the Framework laptop for just shy of a month. Yesterday, I noticed that the laptop refused to charge past 93% when I plugged it into my usual charging port (upper left). Confused, I ran:

The latest 11th gen BIOS update (3.22) has mention of an attempted reduction of this behaviour by introducing a “5% float”:

You can check your current BIOS version following the steps here to determine if you are on the latest release.
NOTE:
If you have lost your Secure Boot keys and cannot enable Secure Boot, the screen will still appear as shown in the picture below, even after setting the ‘Restore Secure Boot to Factory Settings’ option to ‘Enabled’ and then selecting ‘Save and Exit’.
